Chapter 1 · Lesson 1

Course Introduction

What you'll learn, how this course is built, the outcomes you can expect — and how to use the two-track examples so the system fits your goal.

One promise, five moves

This course makes a single promise: a repeatable personal system that helps anyone read faster, remember more, and learn new skills in a fraction of the time. Everything is organised around one arc — five moves that build on each other.

The learning arc: Understand, Read Faster, Remember Better, Learn Smarter, Build a System 🧠Understand Read Faster 🔁Remember Better 🎯Learn Smarter 🛠️Build a System
The arc every section maps onto. You'll revisit it until it's second nature.

Notice the order. You can't read fast on material you don't understand, and speed is wasted if nothing sticks. Each move sets up the next.

How the course is structured

Twelve sections, ~71 short lessons, each 5–12 minutes. Every section ends with a hands-on artifact — a drill, worksheet, quiz, or mini-project — because reading about learning isn't learning.

  • Watch & read — a short concept, paired with a visual.
  • Try it live — interactive tools: timers, quizzes, flashcards.
  • Apply it — a practice task on your own material.

The two-track example system

The methods here are universal — only the material changes. So every technique comes with two worked examples. Follow whichever track matches your goal (or both).

🟢 Non-tech track
Learning Spanish vocabulary, retaining a non-fiction book, or studying for a history exam.
🔵 Tech track
Memorising syntax & shortcuts, understanding a system-design concept, or reading documentation and papers.
Pick your goal now.
The very next lessons ask you to choose one real thing you want to learn. Keep it in mind throughout — the system works best aimed at something you actually care about.
Practice — Set your destination

In one sentence, write the single skill or subject you want this course to help you master. Decide which track — 🟢 non-tech, 🔵 tech, or both — fits it. You'll build everything else around this choice in Lesson 1.3.

Lesson Summary
  • The course follows one arc: Understand → Read Faster → Remember Better → Learn Smarter → Build a System.
  • Every section ends in action — you build a personal system as you go.
  • Choose a real goal and a track now; it anchors the whole course.
